Are you passionate about science and eager to support the next generation of young scientists? We are seeking a detail-oriented Science Technician to play a key role in supporting the dynamic Science Department at our school.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for the preparation of materials and equipment for lessons, ensuring that science laboratories and preparation rooms are safe, well-organised, and fully equipped for engaging practical activities.
You will work closely with teaching staff to support demonstrations and experiments, manage laboratory resources, and maintain scientific equipment to the highest standards.
Your duties will include preparing chemical solutions, setting up apparatus for lessons, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring health and safety protocols are rigorously followed. You’ll also be involved in managing laboratory stock, advising on equipment needs, and even caring for plants and animals used in lessons.
