We are looking for a passionate Religious Studies Teacher to join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.
You will lead engaging KS4 Religious Studies lessons that encourage critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and a deeper understanding of worldviews, fostering an environment where students can explore their beliefs and values. All KS4 students study the AQA Religious Studies A curriculum. At KS3, you will deliver our bespoke Philosophy, Religion and Ethics (PRE) curriculum, which is a core subject and distinctive offering at Avanti Fields. The curriculum focuses on developing an appreciation and deepening one’s faith in the Hindu tradition, and rests upon the beliefs, teachings and practices lived and taught by Sri Chaitanya. The curriculum enables students to learn from and about different faiths, philosophic theories and approaches to asking and answering the ‘big’ questions in life.
As part of our team, you will work collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of learning, achievement, and conduct while contributing to the school’s vibrant ethos.
If you are committed to inspiring students through thought-provoking and inclusive teaching, apply today!
Candidates must have an understanding of PRE and be willing to learn and deepen their knowledge of ISKCON to effectively support lesson delivery at KS3.
